Questionable Clubbing Behaviours.

Last weekend I attended Flash Friday in Prodigy KL ( Formerly known as Butter Factory)

because one of my very favourite local DJ, Mr.Fluff was spinning.

& I swear, each and every time I partied to his sets,
I don't only have a GOOD time, I have an AMAZING time.
He's so good that we couldn't find time to take a break.

I like that they serve Belvedere here in Prodigy.
One of my fav Vodka :)
Tastes so smooth unlike Absolut, I dread that burn. ugh.

Pretty laser lights yes :)

Gorgeous photo by my 5s as usual.
The duo flash is AMAAAAZINGGGGG. <3

Anyways, thats just for starters,

I actually considered whether or not to share this,
but I decided to anyways.

My girlfriends and I headed off to Zouk at about 2.30AM cos Prodigy was about to close.
& every KL party-goer knows being at Zouk on a weekend means getting "Sardine canned".

but besides that, there are also a whole load of ridiculousness going on in that cramped space.
In which I'd like to call questionable clubbing behaviours.

#1, Grabbing & Groping

I seriously don't get why men do this,
Yes I do understand you all loveee to touch them sexy ladies.
but isn't there another way? a more beneficial way for both parties?
Don't be rude and grope / grab someone, be it a lady or another man,
Its just rude, unpleasant and definitely not likely to end well for you.

Think of this, at the end, what do you get? a slap?
if you really wanna get laid, this is not a great way at all.

When I was walking about in Zouk,
I felt at least 3 times someone's hand from somewhere grabbing my arm really hard
& trying to pull me somewhere?

That was NOT nice at all.
What in the world do they expect to find even if I do get pulled in?
" oh Hi, nice to meet you! " ??

#2, Drinking way too much

First of all, yes, I have been this way myself.
& so I am experienced enough I suppose.
Please please, test your limits and know it well.

I'm pretty sure we all come to clubs to have a good time,
not to injure the hell out of ourselves,
hurt / annoy / offend someone else,
get into a bad fight and end up in a police station
or ruin our reputation forever.

So why!?? tell me WHY
would do you wanna become so drunk
that you end up making bad mistakes on a supposedly good night?

( well unless you do enjoy that I am definitely a-okay about it! )

#3, Getting too touchy.

Okay, so you did everything right,
or you got lucky,
& you got a girl dancing with you now.

Please please don't get overly touchy and desperate right now.
Cos I mean come on,
you're dancing, not having sex.
yes Im not saying you can't touch her,
she probably finds it to be a compliment as well.

However, theres a fine line between sexy, and too much.
In a club where body language plays an important part,
I everyone should know how to express and interpret body language.
If she/he moves away you're probably doing sth wrong.

Well of course, this only applies if they even know how to control alcohol intake to start with.

It has always become an excuse for people
that alcohol makes people do things that are not in their nature,
I'm not too sure I fully agree,
There are several things that determine someone's behaviour when they're drunk,
& I believe its partly related to the way they are.
Alcohol decreases your conscience & rationale thinking,
but it definitely doesn't turn u to someone you're not.
Just someone you wouldn't choose to be when you're sober.
What do you think?

In my opinion, being a constant drunk is just unattractive.
Knowing how to drink enough to have fun shud be sufficient.

With that being said, I'm pretty much blacklisting this place from further visits.
Unless my friends find a very legit reason for me to be there,
I'd probably pass.

I have no idea whats the charm of this horrid cultured club.
I encountered none of the above in Providence,
& infact people were courteous even if they try to flirt.

Well thats all for my post now,
I hope no one finds this offensive,
Its really just my very own piece of mind,

Do feel free to drop me a comment of your own opinion if you have any :)

I hope that the story that I am about to tell you would inspire more people to love beyond their eyes, and let it empower you to save lives of the innocent.
Life may be a fragile as fine glass,
but we're all strong in certain ways,
if we share our strengths & learn to outdo ourselves,
together it'd weave into a force greater than we'd ever know.

Here's the story on how I came across this beautiful little girl.

I was driving back home from Subang on Old Klang Road, heading towards OUG.
and suddenly the truck in front of my car slowed down to a stop,
and turned away from the far right lane I was on, to the left.

& I was shocked to see that the truck avoided running over this little kitten.
It was laying on the floor helplessly.
So without much thought I stopped my car and pulled up the handbrake
but because I was panicking I forgot to put the gear to Park
& got out the car while it was still on Drive.

I have no idea how to describe the panic when my car was moving by itself,
with the door open,
and almost ran over the kitten.
I managed to get in and stop it right before it did.
Got out again and quickly grabbed the kitten and drove off.

I went home and got a box to carry the kitten because one of her leg was paralysed.
It got really scared of me though, kept hissing like a snake.
Boyfriend came over and helped. :)
He's so good with animals. Charming much hehhh.

So at the end we finally managed to get kitty into the box and we drove off to OhanaKD,
They're the only ones I know that can give me the guidance I needed to help the kitty.
They were so nice to supply me a cage and kitten food enough to last days. :')
I was so thankful and happy.
& the next task was just to take care of kitty and bring her to the vet tomorrow.

But sometimes life's unfair.
Or maybe beautiful in its own ways.

On my way back, kitty was moving a lot, trying to stand up and crawl around..
til she suddenly just stopped.
and laid there breathing softly.

Boyf got worried tho he was driving, he noticed the kitty was getting weaker.
I put my hand over her to feel if she was breathing.
Her breaths were really weak.
I got really scared.

A few minutes later we stopped the car and checked on kitty.
Her pupils were dilated, and her face went pale.
All hopes were lost.
Kitty's left us.

I broke into tears, I couldn't accept the fact that I was so close to giving her another chance in life.
I felt that it was life giving her a second chance that I managed to pick her up from the road.

I didn't understand why was she taken away.
I don't understand why she made it this far and yet she wasn't given the chance to finish.

But I have no choice but to let her go,
We drove off to an empty grassfield and wrapped her up,
put her in a nice secluded place and said goodbye.

I was heartbroken,
but no, I don't think it was wasted effort.
Infact Kitty inspired me to keep on doing my best to help strays.
In whatever power I have,
I would do my best.

Last but not least, do support adopting and saving lives instead of buying pets.

We always say love someone from knowing them,
Not by their appearance,

& I think this is well proven in a love from a pet to his master,
they will love you no matter how you look or smell, they don't care of your race, language or religion, and they will love you endlessly, unconditionally.

If you can't find the heart to love a stray,
You probably don't know what love is.
Im sorry,
But this is the truth.

RIP my beautiful kitten,
Im glad I had you for those 3 little hours.

Click on the banner and go support OHANA with rescue funds,
Or visit their adoption drives and take a look at how adorable all these little furkids are.

& trust me,
there's no better feeling in the world than knowing you saved a life.

Of Clams, Mint IceCream & Elmo Shows.

Its Sunday night again.
The dreadful pre-Monday-blues are slowly approaching,
as we savor every minute of the glorious day off, ticking away.

Had an amazing dinner,
White Wine Vongole,
with a whole load of awesome clams!
Not the cheap tiny lalas we usually get u know...

Plus the sauce had much effort put into it,
I could taste flavors and uniqueness,
not just the usual salt pepper and lil bit of mixed herbs kind of spaghetti.

We headed off to have dessert after,
& ended up in this classy looking cafè.

According to my friend,
they've won awards for their desserts.
So I suppose their standards are up to par?

We ordered a chocolate cake.
Not sure whats it called again,
Rich Chocolate or something like that.

And added this Chocolate chip Mint ice cream
it looks amazing doesn't it!
gorgeous presentation to start off. :)

& here comes the tasting!

Take a look at the video as my friends give their piece of mind about the Mint ice cream.

& this is the end of it :)

We walked for a bit,
& one of my bff's recommended we try the wheatgrass Moo Cow dessert.

and omg

& the night ended with some bonding time at home.
Beautiful flowers from the garden.

and here we are chilling,
watching and commenting about Snow White & the huntsman.

Kristen.S is a horrible horrible actress, fullstop.

But we had fun being mean about it! :D

I was sitting on this really hilarious bedsheet
& I got an idea to challenge my boyfriend.
He, is hilarious.
& so gonna kill me for sharing this. but I had to!

HAHAHA he's so good isn't he!!!

and last but not least?
The cutest most lazy/creative present I received this year.
Also the first!

Thankyou my very artistic BFF!
Never had a more guilt-free present unwrapping in my life.

& those are such gorgeous snowflakes n stars.

Today I woke up to an alarming message from bf's bff.
Boyfriend lost his phone at the gym.

Honestly? I felt horrible that he has to fork out money for a new phone..
but a part of me is like "YES goodbye multi(dis)functional droid!"

Yeah so he picked me up and we went off to get his new phone.

He was asking for my opinions.
& well. I know nothing good bout droids except that they have a huge screen.
My boyfriend's a lil blind tho he claims to have perfect eyesight and was blessed with huge eyes.

yada yada, he compared the value of his plans to the contract for a new phone.
& in the end he PERSONALLY decided to get a 5C.
..why a 5C? well cos he's not exactly tech savvy as I am to need a 5S.

Anyhow, I felt like...

& I was starving, so we had Thai food at one of our fav restaurants,
Absolute Thai @ Gardens Mall.
MY TREAT because I'm celebrating. hahaha
Here's beautiful photos of my awesome br/lunch/ner.

This is my Lychee Mint drink
Which boyf said he wanted to share,
& I nicely agreed.
& he finished every single last drop of it.
replaced it with a Chatime but I still partly am bitter bout it.

My Pad Thai. Blanket on, Blanket off.

& his (not sure what) Rice
But super yummy.
& the portions are HUGE!

We wandered aimlessly around
with failed attempts to find him a value-worthy casing and screen protector.
I am such a believer in pasar malam screen protectors.
I mean, its either cheap all the way, or buy original stuff.
No point paying extra for sth not branded in a mall.
at the end its all the same cheap stock.

We wanted to get movie tickets at Midvalley but its all full.
Boyfie wanted to watch the Legend of Hercules
& I was pretty interested myself because I love fictional stuff. :)
I dont know what hit him, but he decided to watch it in GSC Signature.

Woah. Its been ages since I splurged on Premium Tickets.

It does feel good when we only reward ourselves once in a while.
Definitely a very enjoyable choice of cinema.
Awesome quality, comfy seats. and we even get to order food and eat while watching movie.
The next best thing to cuddling and watching movies at home :)

I went home after that. Boyf had some family matters to attend to.
& I was tired still from the late nights of working on assignments.
Little did I know that facebook had a picture of someone whom had wronged me badly in the past.
The sight of his face drove me crazy in rage.
& soon enough I was stuck at this condition

& I needed time out.
I needed a party or somewhere to go.

I made desperate calls to friends.
But somehow everyone was busy this Saturday.

& then I came across Mr.JoshLim's post about extra WOW Music Festival tickets.
10 Minutes later, here I am speeding to Sunway.
Best last minute decision of my life

I was rushing so bad I barely had time to withdraw more cash for myself.
I brought my card with me, but silly much! they obviously go by cash only.

I felt so bad because my friends had to pay for me.
But luckily I didn't even want much drinks.

We did find this really cute stall selling floral headbands.
2 for Rm20.

& Im all equipped.
Supplied glowsticks by sweet Miss.Sherry.
& of course, VIP tickets!!

And we entered into my very first beach music party!!
*jumps around like a happy kid

& here we are!

Bunch of gorgeous girls!!! <3 <3 <3

Taking photos as it was still early. I really love my floral band!

Look at them Neon glowsticks!

Bumped into Mr.Fluff!!! :)
Funny guy.
Love his music so much!

As we were chilling at the VIP area, I had a nice insightful chat with Mr.Lim. :)
& wow, I've never been told so much quotable lines during a party in my life.
I wanted to note them down in my phone but I was too carried away listening to them.

One of those I remember the most is this one here.

" Never be silly to give up your dreams for anyone, Even if u think they're your future, and that they can provide you a life good enough... because at the end of the day all that make us who we are, are our dreams, they're all we've got, so take a chance, work hard and do what you love, do it good! Give it all your best because If you never try, You'll really never know".

(Paraphrased because I don't remember the exact words)

& soon enough we moved to the party area to enjoy the music.

Lots of lil wonderful things happened that night.

#1, I bumped into Jules <3 I was delighted!! Seeing her makes my party immidiately 10X better! :)

#2, I literally walked and stood next to Derek CKM
Been so long since I saw this boy here!!
Love his cray cray vibe!

Best lighting I had,
But someone looks like he fell asleep. Hah!!

I was walking around getting drinks and..
DJ LengYein!!!
It felt surreal meeting her in person because all I ever see are her photos & videos.

She's really nice and down to earth.
Haters gonna hate.
At least she's all hard work & not just luxury brands.

SO SAD the pic turned out blur.

#5 One of my favourite drinks ever is the main drink here at WOW.
Korean Mead, Honey Wine.
Its sweet & delicious.

No better way to feel good than rave with awesome drinks.

Okay Im not really too happy with the complimentary drinks though.
Fake Red Bull? Really?

HAHAHA GIF Memes are hilarious.
but really!! WHAT?!

Just for the record, I didnt drink it.
Im sorry. I cant.

Moving on,
More pictures of me, and
do check out the video snippet at the end for a more audiovideo experience of my experience!

aaaandd...I was tired of my smiling face. GAHHH

What we've been waiting for!

# OOTN picture because really tired of waiting dy.

and Cheers to the event!

ended too prematurely early. I dont even know how to put it to words
But ended by 12am,
felt like a high school party.
Like okay everyone lets go home before our mama calls.

But okay, there apparently is an afterparty in SOJU,

Which we did visit, walked a wholeeee stretch to reach,
and got utterly disappointed.
No live DJ, No one dancing, just loads of smoke and people standing around.

& here we are sitting on the floor because our feet are so tired!

Later we realised both my friends dropped their IC & driving license,
So we backtracked all the way to lagoon to look for them
& OMG I actually found the driver's license on the floor,
and a security found the IC and returned it to her.

the world needs more kind people like them. :')

Went to my car afterwards to drive to mamak.
Driving backwards because Im lazy to U-turn and U-turn to get there.
& I was famished!

What to order?
my absolute fav LOL

& this, ended my beautiful night.
With a head full of champagne hair
and feet full of Aoki Cake.

Couldn't have transformed my night any better. :)

I wish I lived in Wonderland.

If you guys don't already know,
I am CRAZY about wonderland.
I love everything about it because its so beautifully creative.
& it barely makes sense.

I love Alice because shes so much like me.
I daydream so much, and most of the time my dreams is just crazy abstract.

& yes, I cosplayed Alice.
I dont even cosplay.
But I HAD to do this.

The costume, hair and shoes took me an entire week to find.
But I love how this turned out.
& this is not the end yet.

Also I remember a few years back when it was the premiere of Tim Burton's Alice,
Literally MAD.
Because they had this gorgeous installation at the center court of Midvalley
that looked like the setting of Wonderland.

(Omg so sad I had to google image because I misplaced my photos somewhere)

Well then I swore one day when I have a house, I'd decorate a section like this.
& have a birthday in this theme.
& I have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to wonderland themed things, & tattoos.
yes, Im considering an abstract piece in Wonderland theme.

I cant believe I missed this though. *sigh

Anyways, as I was saying..
(I shud stop being distracted...)

The White Rabbit, reminds me of how I am like when I chase for something.
Most of the time it just brings me to a whole different 'world', but yet, instead of being afraid,
I just end up learning so much that I never even thought I would.

The mad hatter, well I wasnt much of a fan of this crazy guy, until Tim Burton came up with a different rendition of the character.
I am in love with how he said to Alice "You used to be much more..."muchier." You've lost your muchness"
& the way he is so much more emotional and deep compared to the original Hatter.
ALSO a huge part was because Johnny Depp played the character.
Honestly! I wouldn't mind giving up reality and being with him forever <3

I mean, LOOK AT HIM!
My fav actor in my fav story...

& last year, when I was in Disneyland Tokyo,
I spent all my money swiping off Alice in Wonderland merchandise off the shelves.
I literally bought 80% of the shop.

I wanted to dine at the restaurant so bad, but the line was madness

Anyways, its been so hectic this week I barely had time to sit and write here.

But while I was doing research at class earlier,
I came across something that completely psyched me.

that was my first reaction. LOL

What is it?

365G - Day 9

Today's grateful discovery?

Suddenly I felt like the world is not such a horrible place afterall.

Hahahaha okay I'll stop being dramatic.
I cant wait to watch this series!

& I wanna end this post with my other really fav Character from this year.

Olaf from Disney's Frozen.

My classmate showed me this.
& I was laughing so hard,
Im still laughing right now.
