Future Music Festival Asia - The Story Part 3.

Today, I had my heart broken into tiny little painful pieces.

Dramatic? NO.
I swear I literally sat at the staircases unable to believe it is real.

"...it cant be..I don't believe!!!... how can they just call it off??"

The reason why I found it so difficult to fathom this is happening
is because I was all prepared for the finalè today.
Its my closure.
The completion of a chapter.

This felt like a sudden breakup.
I just can't... can't accept this...

How could you do this to me??

This is my graduation party for goodness sake!! :(

But u know what makes me stand my ground that the festival is in no wrong?

because look at this...
people that come here are all happy and friendly.
We have no hate, no worries, no boundaries.
there's no racism, discrimination nor disrespect.

All love, all happiness and pure bliss. :)

To me, festivals feels like entering a realm of endless euphoria.
like for that moment in time, the world is at peace,
we are united as one nation and our love is the music,
we feel alive.

Its really amazing how the music brings people from all walks of life together.
Suddenly we're all the same,
we're one nation, the music is our language, the love is our energy.

at festivals I see people help one another without question,
hugs are given endlessly, a helping hand for anyone with difficulties,
people just don't channel selfishness anymore,
its like all of sudden, we're all so full of love.

These two gorgeous Japanese babes came all the way just for today,
as u can see
they were waiting to listen to Knife Party.
They told me that their plane only landed last night.

Imagine how much disappointment they experienced?

I recorded this,
with tears in my eyes.

That voice,
just shattered my heart.

and poor Derrick was supposed to experience his very first Music festival with me.
coming all the way and seeing it being cancelled,
yet he doesn't even know what to be sad about.

I guess that was the only thing I laughed about for the rest of that day.

Eventually all we had left to do was to say goodbye, and go home.
the entire place looked like a crime scene.

3 people passed away from overdose of a bad batch of drugs,
another 3 was hospitalised.

I never followed the rest of the story,
Neither do I think its anyone's fault at all

In my opinion,
We're all responsible of ourselves.
What is the use of blaming anything else for our own negligence?

Be it a festival, or a party, or even a solo drinking session,
anything could kill us if we didn't care about being alive.

I just didn't think everyone else had to pay the price
because what needed to be taken was already done.

why did they have to incur extra pain to it?

and this, this post by this specific page made me so so angry.

Just the things they wrote itself, accusing of untrue facts,
assumptions and theories of their own.

"kebebasan hidup 100% hanya layak untuk HAIWAN bukan manusia"
that literally translates to say
"full freedom in life is only for ANIMALS and not humans"

No one asked any of those who are unwilling to join.
who made them king to rule anyones lives.
we made our choices,
so mind your own??

"percampuran bebas tidak kira jantina, agama dan bangsa"
which meant
"freedom of friendship regardless of gender, religion and race"

which in their words they meant to say that it wasn't good.
so we are supposed to be racist, sexist and religion biased??

WHAT LOGIC???
I cant even...

and the final one,
was an accusation saying that
DRUGS AND CONDOMS WERE FREELY DISTRIBUTED.

I didn't think I'd see such ridiculousness.

nevertheless, all the upcoming music festivals or concerts and anything similar as such are completely cancelled in Malaysia.

I guess we're all banned from being happy from now on.

although however, you'd probably still see news of people dying from overdose at their own homes, under the bridge, at abandoned buildings and such.

PS: Forgive my bitterness,
I am just trying to state my point of view in all these.

Music festivals are not of evil.
there are mistakes everyday.
Perhaps education is better than banning?

Future Music Festival Asia, The Story Part 2.

Its Day 2 of FMFA.

And all I can say is that the party,

The Party only gets better
because today,

is A STATE OF TRANCE a.k.a ASOT650KL

Its ARMIN!!!! I just cannot even put it into words.

EX-CI-TED!!!!

This is going to be one EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC night.
I KNOW IT
I JUST DO!

and to go with that,
of course,
my beautiful partner in crime and I have already planned out our looks

we, are ready to trance.

as pastel rainbow FAIRIES!!!!

Like seriously,
this look just turned out way more gorgeous than expected.

I cannot even believe I single handedly did this.

My shorts actually started out medium blue.
 & I dyed it to a purple/pink.
somehow it ended up patchy, and I decided to bleach it off.

Turns out the results of my mistakes made an awesome pastel that works with this look!
Im just glad I didnt have to wear a skirt as I actually planned.

A closer look at my makeup.

Really, I spent a lil too much time doing this.

Okay,
To be really honest

I personally LOVE this photograph so much.

forgive me, its #selfie time.

Used up my last two polaroids.

Just for memory sake.

The fairies have arrived to the party grounds.

ARE U READYYYY?!?!

The Evian seesaw is just tooooo pretty in Pink to not go for it again.

Photos taken from Evian Malaysia's fb page.

looks oh so candid.
I love candids :D

Kaokao talk was also giving out Free beer vouchers
...that are too pretty to give off after redemption!!

<3 for their generosity!

This flash photo turned out prettier than expected.

Sister fairies on the Ferris Wheel!!
(watch my VLOG for the experience!)

Blinking rainbow bangles were on sale @ 3 for RM10.

I spent all the remainder of my cash right there and then.
Well actually just RM20 worth of stock up.

Was lost and waiting to meet up with my friends again
when suddenly LeeMin found me.
so, #selfie!!

hahahaha this is one epic photo
because I met this guy, named Boss, or im not sure how to spell it
at my bf's friend's hostel while playing games
(ref post: here

and he told me he was coming to KL for this.
so we agreed to say HI if we do bump into one another.

I honestly didn't expect to really see him
walking past me in a crowd of over thousands of people.

talk about a picture worthy moment!! :)

and we all just couldn't believe such an amazing night had to end.
Im glad someone suggested to take a group photo before we went our separate ways.

Had a great time with this bunch here.
<3 this moment will forever be in my heart.

& last but not least, for the clarification of some rumors thats been going on about me not attending FMFA and instead, was ALONE in the room with some guy at the hotel.
I have no idea who u are and what you were trying to achieve by speaking such nonsense

so here it is, a photograph of me lying halfway on the bed, resting.
after walking back from the enormous bunch of people,
exhausted from the party since 6PM til 2.30AM.
with my bag still half attached to my body,
my flower crown nicely still intact,
hair neat, clothes untouched.
photographed with my very own handphone
by my sister fairy as witness.
& also another 5 other people in the room.

we drove home in MY car.
and slept safe, and alone
IN MY ROOM
on my PINK BED.

as seen in the picture below.

So please, if you're a friend, or a recipient of this rumor,
I don't blame you.
Stories get exaggerated and twisted around daily.

take a moment to think,
to stand in my shoes and imagine if you were being accused of something so untrue and straight down disrespectful and damaging.
How hurt would you be?

I do not wish for anything, but only one favor,
to stop spreading and speaking of it any further.

I believe in mutual respect.
As a friend, a stranger, or just as a human alone,
to live and let live.
to mind our own lives.

So
Last but not least,

VLOG of DAY2.

Were you there?
Did u see me?

Do say hello!

To those that have taken photos with me,
if you ever find me,
Comment and send me a link to our picture!
I would really wanna see & keep a copy of it!!

Future Music Festival Asia, The Story Part 1

The 3 days I've been anticipating 6 Months for,
HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!!

and. to be honest.
the weather his not being very nice at all.

KL's haze rate is rising,
and as much as I am hoping it subsides by day 1,
it isn't happening.
I got curious, so I decided to check the Air Quality Index.
and. here's how it looks like.

& I silently told myself,
its okay Vickie,
Your lungs will survive this because...
at least u don't smoke.

Well, the party goes on, nevertheless.
& my girl and I are THRILLED!!

Today,
I will be listening to DJ's that I love sooo much!!

Personally, I am super thrilled about R3HAB and Adventure Club.
Just really really big big fans of all their music.

we've planned out our outfits for the 3 safari days.
with consideration of the dancing rates,
and also making sure it'll all be very different each day.

I just can't wait to remember this forever!
it will be SO AWESOME that it's historical.

yeah, EDM-historical.
Day one, we're gonna be sister leopards.
I'm the safari leopard & my darling's the snow leopard.

& those are not arm fats, they're biceps. pfft.

OH I CANT WAIT ALREADY!. Lets go!

and why are we taking pictures at the entrance
instead of barging our way in?

because what better way to start day 1 than to leave our ID cards with our friend.
whom is now at the VIP entrance.

Lucky us, we had amazing friends that entered and met up to get our ID's for us.

so meanwhile,

Im just gonna take a picture with my precious precious ticket.

AAAAND we got in! :D
WOOHOO!

don't ask me why I had to cross my legs so far til I stepped on her feet. :(
I have no idea.

& for the entire night people were stopping us Leopards for pictures.
